Kingston Sports Center Basketball Programs
Pat Luptowski is our newest addition at Kingston Sports. Pat Grew up in Keene, NH where he became a four year varsity player and the all time leading scorer at Keene High School. He then became a three-year starter at division II Saint Anselm College in the highly competitive Northeast-10 Conference. Pat was always among the league leaders in three point shooting, which is credited to countless hours in the gym on his own.
One of our coaches at the Kingston Sports Center is the former NBA player Dana Barros . Before Dana entered the NBA, he played at Boston College and finished as one of the school's all-time leading scorers. In 1989, he was selected in the first round of the draft as the 16th pick overall by the Seattle SuperSonics. This was the start to his 15 year career in the National Basketball League. He went on to play with the Philadelphia 76ers, the Detroit Pistons, and our home team the Boston Celtics. The season of 1994 to 1995 was a breakout year for Barros. He was selected to play in the 1995 NBA All-Star Game along side NBA legends Shaquille O'Neal and Reggie Miller. He had a 50-point, 8-rebound game against the Houston Rockets and then a triple-double against the Orlando Magic. At the end of the season he was named the league's Most Improved Player.
